DOME CAPS fit snugly over the funnel ends of the SpaBell and are used to trap either air or water inside the SpaBell. When air-filled the SpaBells can be used for buoyancy resistance type exercises or to float your body to facilitate performing all sorts of leg exercises, such as the deep water running exercise shown above. When completely water-filled each SpaBell weighs approximately 8 pounds (outside the water) and can be used to perform freeweight exercises above the surface of the water, such as the biceps curl or shoulder press (pictured at bottom of page) .

To remove Dome Caps simply peel off by lifting up on one of the extended tabs on the edge of the Dome Cap.

Secure each Dome Cap by first aligning the Dome Cap channel with the Funnel rim and the notches on the Dome Cap with the large vanes. Then, press HARD on the top edge of the Dome Cap to 'pop' that side onto the funnel. Press on the opposite side of the Dome Cap's top edge to make it 'pop' on as well. Check to make sure the Dome Cap is properly secure all the way around, otherwise the Dome Cap will leak or dislodge while the SpaBell is in use.

IMPORTANT: When air-filled the SpaBells should never be used as a lifesaving flotation device. They should not be relied on for sole flotation support in water over your head if you don't know how to swim or tread water.

SpaBells converted to a flotation device with Dome Caps can be used to float your body even in shallow water. The exercise shown at left is called 'Running in Circles'.

SpaBells with Dome Caps (and air-filled) can be used as you would use a kickboard. Put on a pair of flippers and swim laps if your pool is long enough! Note: Depending on how the large vanes are angled the SpaBells can also provide resistance to swim against. Add the Power Vanes for even more resistance!

When water-filled each SpaBell weighs approximately 8 pounds and can be used for a variety of free-weight exercises in the pool area. Shown at left is the shoulder press exercise.
IMPORTANT: When water-filled the SpaBells should only be used in the pool area because water can leak out of the SpaBells.
